Map

A quiet beach tucked away in Huruhi Bay, on the fringe of Oneroa village, Wild Bay is named after “Koao Creek”, the original spring running through the secluded valley into the bay. Discretely separated from the bustle of the village and tourist crowds, it is renowned for sheltered moorings, tranquil beach walks, fishing from the rocks and solitude. The experience of remoteness is combined with instant access to the many attractions of Waiheke Island and the wider Hauraki Gulf.

Arrive at Wild Bay directly by boat on to the private beach from anchorages close to shore. Or a winding rural drive a few minutes from passenger and car ferries, through vineyards, farm land and bush from Church Bay Road, one of New Zealand’s most sought-after coastal life-style locations. Or helicopter from Auckland directly to adjacent vineyards and restaurants. Or a quiet and easy beach walk from Oneroa village.
